THE REDNECK BAR

I see the forum is homogenising a little these days , probly to adjust to the granny rules that society has do deal with these days , anyhow ,is there a chance we could start a section called THE REDNECK BAR , that way we can do a real post here  n there & members sensitive to such can expect this sort of chat if they choose to click on it ,im not saying anything posted against the law should be posted , just normal stuff to us , but seems a little out there to some ... as it seems. albo.

I must say I used to enjoy the knock em down drag em out style over at Finders where idiots were not tolerated, Hakey used to keep all the new chums asking where the gold can be found in line

are well lets kicket along a bit , theres an oil exploration company ,I know  its nothing about gold but  some mates have gone into it big time ,personal wealth 60 k . the other  80 k  & bought shares in Petromated .. Mongolia  oil exploration  ...Last year   have hit highs at 2 pounds , listed at the London stock exchange  back to 7 pence , bargain , could be a a good bet , im lookin.

har har always  have  time  for the Rednecks  , we keep the joint runnin

There are times you have to move on. Things are ok and yes some of the members that used to be here don't come in anymore or not often and it's always good to see new members.
New blood makes for an interesting forum    new ideas and it's a wake up call to forums to get with the times.

G`Day Pip.I have been around this forum and several others for a while now,and its only recently I have finished work and find that with a bit more time I am on the forums more.Its funny you say about the lack of posts/interest ,It appears to be happening on another forum also.May be it is just a reflection of current times (busy, hectic life style etc )I have made a pact with myself now to get out at every opportunity,weather permitting.Ah well ,thats my two bobs worth.

Well said Phil.  Contrary to popular belief, life is busy for a lot of people in this game.
Not all can just pack up and go when they feel like it.  Dare I say, a lot of us still have the Monday to Friday grind or even shift work.  Great life isn't it, NOT !
but that is life.

well what a night at the fight ring.. got to put my arm around danny green and I can tell u hes as fit as ever...and as solid as a Pilbara bull.
great crowd of 500-600 people and some great fights.

There was the traditional auction during bouts and a pair of the green machines gloves went for $3800, all framed and lookin the part. Mind u the young ladies were all up to the standard as well and all fit and looking the part.

Ray, what ya do is plug ya phone into your computer, open the phones drive, open the folder where the photo's are stored, copy or cut them from the phone and paste them into your computer.  It's easy     

thanks cliff--now that I have precise instructions will try my luck..

weres the cable for my phone gone?  --can I borrow yours cliff?

Right now have them on puter in PICTURES LIBRARY- now what--theres no easy way to get them from there to the forum..?

hy all,
good to see that the forum is getting some new young members.  But the old blood can show you a thing or two still.    Yes it is good if you can just take off dectecting when ever you want to. That was me not long ago but dam I think I need my head read because im back at work doing 12 hr days.    If someone can tell me why I'm back at work and not detectng please do?????Bloody money is starting to run my life again.  Been there and done tat  not doing that again.  But the bush and detecting is really starting to call me back.

Yep,your right there Pip it always comes back to money.Unfortunately you can not do much with out it.I can survive relatively cheaply,I have got the beer covered with home brew its just the diesel I have to work on now.

Try the pommy way.  Old chip frying oil with a dash of white spirit.  apparently it's how they get around not paying VAT/GST on home brewed diesel.
I'm sure there's something on google about it.

You will find with all forums these days that there is always the majority that will 'sit on the fence" as the saying goes & not offer any posts.
This happens on the forum I help administer & the server I use (which is their policy not mine) is that if that if they see no inactivity from members over a 6 month period they are automatically removed from the forum site so I impress on those members to at least introduce themselves when applying to be a member.
Perhaps this is the case here but maybe because the temps are coming down & they have gone bush!!!!
P.S. My opinion only. The Redneck Bar may be a good choice.

Hi Ted.Yea I agree with you about members going bush and off the forum whilst there away but I have noticed this lack of involvement over the last few months during our hotter months.I think like you say new members have to be encouraged to inter-.act more frequently some how.New members are welcomed but may be perhaps some of the older members follow up on threads that newbys post.There is nothing worse than not getting any replies and very disheartening.Just my thoughts.

That's forums for ya, we can't force members to do anything.  but we do cull the ones who don't do the slightest thing like introduce themselves.
And we have a lot who haven't done anything for at least a year.
Maybe they are the Eastern Terrorists looking for X marks the spot for their 2014 trip over here.
