geez I was reading a post put on finders by Bilbo--well what a absolute tosser u r mate --they should rename u dildo..
nothing on your post had any truth in it what so ever let alone any credibility.

If u r in the loop with a dealer or two then they have worked u out and r peeing in ya pocket and rightly so.

I know what the wholesale price of detectors are and u aren't even in the ball park--let alone the cost of manufacture..

Minelab does not restrict any dealer from selling other detectors throughout Australia but they get their nose out of joint on other matters which maybe detrimental to their brand which is common sense.

Reeds in Perth -one of the largest dealers around sells garrets and a few other leading brands so fair go.
Prospectors patch got minelabs goat up and they done what was their prerogative--I would have done the same..u aren't privy to the whole truth and why should u.

I choose not to sell other brands coz I rarely get a call for them and if someone wants another brand I point them in the right direction rather than waste my time convincing them otherwise unlike what the prospectors patch was doing..

so if u r goin to stick the knife in make sure u have all the facts. Unfortunately u was played for a sucker.

Agreed RE Finders. People should learn to control their Keyboard. How do some people have time to write so much crap anyway?

Food for thought   

Not sure why Reeds don't sell the ATX, but if they did, I would have ordered on the spot.

The other mob don't have them in stock anyway, so I am weighing up ordering it from the states (I deal in shipping).

I am not entering in the debate on who is better(Minelab/Garret) , but it's gotta be worth the same money as a 2nd hand GPX 3500???

I will keep you posted.

Now your talking, they would have to be the best bang for your buck at the moment. Quieter than a 4500, improved Enhance timing over the 4500 and very cheap to get into.

yep  JP , iv   seen them going on sale lately  , from what I understand they are only a few timings , as you blokes refer to short of the 5000 which means bugger all to a bloke like me & maybe a small jump up from  the 4500 ... good value now.

ps Ray when I upgrade you will be the first dealer il see , just a matter of quitting work first !, albo.
