Warwick gold from the east

Hi all well i thought id share a bit of east side gold for you. I finally got my 5000 in september and this is the results for this year about 18 grams
from the warwick area about 2.5 hrs west of brissie i thought id share .

Nice finds there mate. Is that a tiny nugget 2 up and 2 in from bottom left corner??

G'day pilbarachad , i wish i could say i was that good but just a broken bit from one of the others, if i didnt see it in the picture i prob would have missed it.

Thought that may have been the case- would have been a skillfull find thats for sure.

in the Warwick area .

Have you been in the New areas or at G------s ?

Nice find of gold, Antimony. don't hear much about finds from that area, thanks for posting and good detecting in the year ahead.

had a nice weather window btw new years and the weekend pete, bloody screaming I couldn't take advantage.
had a look this morning and predicting 40+ for the next 2 weeks in the fields.

anyhow stiff sh*t back to work tomorrow god dammit!!!

This weekend looked ok as well, in certain areas
Bugga, this time of the year, missus has all the to do plans for me, BEING THE OFF SEASON !!! Hahaha!

Sorry mate, just realised you mean't this weekend, just gotta wait for the next heatwave to bugga off, hopefully in line with a weekend!

The gold was found at glendons and in the newly opened areas good luck. Rob

Looks good. We have family on a place just out of Warwick and hoping to visit them mid year. Now will have to take the 5000 with us - just in case!!

absolutely GDH there are plenty of areas around that area , and over the years  thousands of ounces found . The big ones maybe still out there ,Good luck

Hmmm. I didn't think I left any behind. LOL Good finds mate. Pratten is (was) my favourite area but had to give it up due to health.

Yes I have to agree nice gold .this area is local to me and was very kind to me last year.
I'm sure there are lots more out there with my name on them.

Yes albo there are lots of prospectors out there, I don't mind sharing if they can find it before me good luck to them. There are not to many areas that are close enough for a weekend out detecting.

Hi guys,

I'm out at Warwick and plan to head out to Glendon and the new areas opened up in the State Forests for a week.  Got into Warwick this morning and 'bang' CV joint went on the 'Cruiser.  Heck!!   (Last year it was a busted water hose and warped the head near Nullagine then the radiator went in Victoria!!)

Friends are going to let me put my van up in their yard as car won't be fixed til about next Tuesday as no parts in town.  Will have a borrowed vehicle.

I have done a bit of research on the areas and have stayed at Glendon twice before but this is first time detecting there.

Without asking X marks the spot   any suggested areas would be appreciated. If you don't want to post here then a PM would be appreciated.
