Finally broke my drought

Well as the title says I finally broke my nearly one year gold free drought

Picked these 3 up with my trusty old extreme, I got all 3 with my stock standard 11" DD after trying my sadie and 11" mono for a day and a half and getting sick of all the noise. Within a couple of hours of putting the DD on I picked up the little half grammer on the edge of a scrape and pretty quickly afterwards scored the 7 grammer within a few metres and got the little specie not too far away the next day.

All in all pretty happy to have a few new ones to look at  . On a sidenote its been just about 2 years now since I got my detector- total finds in that time about 26 grams or so- definitely thought id have more by now!!!

Nice pieces Chad I like the 7 grammer bewdy, its my 2nd season prospecting and I've found about 12 grams in small nuggets and 1 dollied specimen. I'm off to Cue next week so I hope to find some more.

Haha didn't wait long to post....sure was better to have a smile on ya face after the first day and half walking km after km with nothing. Haha well done anyways was a good lil outing. I managed to pick up another 2 half grammers after you left.

Good stuff mate- you gonna throw some pics up??

Plus obviously that speci. The Lil one in the middle was only 0.1g haha. Crazy the 500 can pick that up with a very positive target sound.
