This process looks highly dangerous in every aspect. Having worked with cyanide in the past, I know how nasty it can be, one small drop on the skin causes an angry red rash.

Rumor has it cyanide has killed the Sepik river in PNG from the gold processing plant around Ok-tedi mine or there a bouts 'ish . Runoff also killing the barrier reef marine life. Interesting where these Colombian miners are getting their gold though in mines that are hundreds or years old. I also heard a lot of cyanide was used around charters towers gold mines & wonder how much was used in WA? .
