It's back, lets see what happens next   
I won't swear on a stack of bibles but I think it has something to do with Firefox updates.  Dunno why but in the last few days it has been messing with my computer settings.
If anyone is using Firefox and has been seeing a difference in your monitor display, do a restore and turn firefox updates off.
