nice piece decanfrost, a very illusive club to join im shore. i bet that gave ya a scare when the coil went over it, would of screamed at ya even at depth.

i am sorry to say not a member as this is my first year, just got back from 2 weeks east of leinster, found 2 species with aprox 4.5 to 5 g of gold, my first and only find so far. but i can dream. and

Yes nice bling .
My preference is for about an 8 gram clean nugget from the salt lakes.
They shine bright and most of the time dont require clean up.
But I'm yet to find one.and with this type of subjective beauty ... It,s in the beholder ....

mm dunno decan , how about you take the shine , il take the weight , na ..1 week in the allbright acid cleaner & that great lump will look like it came from a lake , its a solid one , chuck it in the ali cleaner , if you have none, uncle terry or mick out there will see ya right .... itl come out good & shiny as lake gold, they tell me its the chloride solutions in salt lakes that makes nuggets clean & shiny anyway . albo.

well done mate! i havent made the ounce club yet,but my partner is in the 2 oz club after last month i walked straight past the bugger lol

be happy decan , that's a bewdy mate & consider yourself lucky living in magnet , you have gold all round you when you knock off work, , I did it on n off for years , like many there at the time  , longy , codger steve  , a good coppa who shal remane nameless , mick laylow, yobbo & his mate bro , sutho , k. brand , the big dave chady , keith rogers  , Rodney buck , red beard ivan bates at the island wet plant & last but not least Big Terrance Little who introduced me to the game   ..  big sluggs round magnet are yet to be found ,albo.

i wish id found the 2oz nuggie aswell!
but im happy with a personal best of a 15 g nuggie i put up in the finds section a while back.
its also good when your going 50/50 with all gold found;)
