Something to Think About

It’s now the time of year where we all spend money like it grows on trees, well maybe not all of us.

Celebration time ? or just time off work (and well deserved) to enjoy time with family and friends to eat, drink and be very merry.

Time to watch the enjoyment in your partners or children’s eyes when they get their presents. To watch the wonderment in a toddler’s eyes when they get their first chrissie present and they look at the colourful paper and they don’t have a damn clue what it is until you help them rip the paper off (and that’s something I’ll never forget).

But here is a sad note, 3 of the ladies I work with have cancer. 2 with breast cancer and the other has just had an op for liver cancer. Not nice.

Can I urge everyone to donate a few dollars to the cancer foundation of your choice, it’s not just for ladies ya know. It affects us tough guys also and don’t be scared of the rubber glove on the doctors hand.
