It appears to be a major catastrophe but believe me, it isn't. It's a new day and a new beginning and life will go on.
There has been some changes as you have all seen but it doesn't mean the end, far from it.
All I can say is, sit back, relax and carry on as usual.

I was reading the threads or post then noticed quiet a few oldies were all of a sudden guests.

Obviously there must have been a few problems that couldnt get sorted..i dont know..

The oars are still in the lifeboat and ya won't need a life jacket

WTF just got in the door and have just read the colum, you've got to be joking all those guys mentioned make up a HUGE part of DWAG, there must be some mistake? Can't imagine this forum without Crazy Pete he puts in so much time and his knowledge of prospecting is without doubt unquestionable.

In answer to your question ND, in a way I did get what I want and the forum will not die. It may go quiet for awhile until things cool down but it will go on.

I am still around but as I can't go prospecting/walking anymore my activities are limited and I am now flying Model aircraft again when I can as I don't have to walk about to do that. Anyone thought to ask these blokes?

There seems to be a lot of negativity at the moment. I have locked 2 of the topics that have been asking the question "Why ?"

I will once again state what I have already said, it is a private matter and I will not display it here publicly.

I totally realize that a lot of people thought 1 person was the heart and soul of this forum. You are entitled to your opinion and you get the respect for stating what is on your mind but please don't make negative comments.

1 person does not make a forum, it is the members who make it work and from what I've been seeing, it's still floating. If the others are sitting on an island drinking, then maybe the forum is better off without them but that is just my opinion.

I expect people will get annoyed with what I have just said and I expect to get more pm's asking "Why" as I'm sure private messages or emails have been passed amongst you. There are 2 sides to every story but I can tell you all this, if you want to know my side, then ask me via a pm and I'll tell you.

Appologies Cliff my post was slow after zaps , realize the forum is a lot of work , but you blokes together made it great , really hope it happens again . ok next subject ... the flies have been deadly up this way & one of the workmates got some natural cream his daughter uses on her horses bum for bot flies & iv gota tell you it really works , dont know the name , but il post it later ,cheers albo.

Anything would have to be better than Aeroguard. I use Bushmans but think the flies are getn to like it to, waiting on your reply Albo.
