The jar of lollies!
Smelt that jar of lollies from way over here in NSW so joined up quick smart to get in with a chance!
Very new to this detecting caper, so on the steep learning curve before we head over to the West next winter.
However, together with a mate did sluice/dredge NSW gold in the early '80's, mainly Trunkey (sluice) and Turon/Maquarie (dredge).
Then along the way became involved with sapphires then opal.
Now retired, but we cant keep out of the bush!
Have bought a GPX4500 with 3 coils and now looking at our local potential (Eastern side of the New England range, NSW) for some serious rehearsing.
Also practicing with Tengraph mysteries, and amazingly starting to get some hang of it.
So if a bloke starts asking strange questions, its probably that being on the wrong side of 70 the grey matter is definately shrinking.
But will appreciate replies anyway.

Ask as many strange questions as you want.
We only give strange answers anyway
