A few from yesterday.
Scored a nice slug yesterday after pinging a few little ones.A large Snappy gum was laying on the outside of a large clump of spinni so towed it out the way with the car and detected the spot. The little 8 inch was growling right in the middle of where the tree had been laying and about a foot down out popped a 29g.

Awesome work Ktown,
nothin better than being on a good run of nuggs, movin some dead wood and getting signals from under it.
There must be more around Mate......keep smashin it till its flogged.

Lots of local natives out and about at the moment. We have had some big fires go through in the last couple a weeks and i still see the occasional small one burning in the distance from where i'm swinging.Patch clearing going on for sure as we have had no storms for over 4 months.Opens a bit more ground for a swing though.....Flying kiwi wrote:dam spini

Heah. Well done brother
We all like a good sized nugget
It goes to show....put out the dead branches and things in the way that others don't bother to do...and bingo.... Au
I have found many nuggets in places where others have just not bothered to check out.
Good detecting brother.

sweet find, ktown. you open some new ideas for me. as for the native indian smoke, when I was around Karratha last year the spinifex were so thick they would burn for miles if set allight.
