You blokes have had a raw deal this summer with those temps. I think the hottest day we had in Sydney was only 34 C. It has been a cool wet one for sure.
I detected one new years day(seriously dusty) a few years back when it hit 40 C. Layed in the creek with the hair of the Dog for most of the day.

You blokes better get out the jumpers, gonna be a chilly 30C tomorrow.
