Keep those thrashed areas in mind.

Have been sticking close to town swinging of late due to the heat and other commitments and have been doing alright,enough small ones to make it worthwhile at least.The patches i've been swinging on (not the short curly hair type ) have been hammered by the locals and tourists alike but are still giving up the gold,so keep those thrashed areas in mind especially if you swing a 4500 or 5000.Three days 15 km's from home 32grams all small but gold is gold.

If they were your boot prints going accross the mud in the creek...yes i did see them cause i followed them so i wouldn't get me boots wet.

IMHO, only goldfields with absolutely NO targets are thrashed, all others may give up gold, I proved that last weekend!!! if there is still junk there is still gold!!!!
