Gold Fever

Gold will do funny things to people. Once upon a time there was this magnificent Pub in the Lancefield/Beria area near Laverton. There was gold under that pub so they knocked it down to get at it. Wonder what the locals thought about that.

Seems like a fair old building to knock down ....So they built them a new pub first? or is there a story of the riots up that way aswell.
