Sunday we have the APLA field day in Banksia Rd, Dardanup. 10am I think?

Bring your detector for a few games and you'll have the opportunity to try several new Minelab machines

do you have to be a member to go along

and drop in for a few at the dardi pub, good little country pub that one.

The AGM was Wednesday night and we failed to get nominations for a president so another meeting is scheduled for a months time. If we don't get a President and a Secretary in that time the south west branch of APLA will close.

I will try and make it Sunday but the boss is having a garage sale that day so getting a leave pass maybe difficult

I've got it on good advice that the boss has given you the day off

yes apparently my "charming disposition" will not be required as a member of the sales team
so I will be able to attend

For those heading out to Dardanup,

From Dardanup go 3.5km to Depiazzi Rd (turns into Banksia), then another 3.5km.

Good luck.....but I'm told there are no real nuggets on that particular block.

Please park on the slashed area, not in the shade . This is for fire prevention

I failed to add, head east from Dardanup on Fergeson Road to Depiazzi.....

Thanks to all the organizers we had a fabulous field day. The weather was a bit off but that didn't stop anybody getting out there on the test beds. The Prospectors Pick had the full range of new detectors available to try out including the Gold Monster 1000. A good sized crowd turned up and it interesting to see the difference in a variety of detectors and coils.

Also had a bit of a play with The Gold Monster.....
Wes impressed with the fly Shyte piece it was picking up ......
