Alec king, Kingys camp rip

Just heard from Ray in karratha that old Alec passed , 92 years , nice old fella prospector , well known & welcomed all to his camp if they had BYO & many camped , stayed & used the services for bugger all , a great community bloke.

looks like he had a good innings Albo. seem a lot of the old timers are passing on, a big loss to the prospecting community.
condolences to the family.

Yes mate he did have a great life i believe, worked the best of the famous Quinns with a dozer & to top it off won the big one at lotto also, great stuff.

RIP Kingy, you treated me with patience when I first got to Meeka in 1993. Another legend gone....
