That is a good idea.
I always tell my sister when I'm going and the day I should be back home and I contact her when I am back home. I also tell her the lease number of where I'm going.
If she doesn't hear from me by the agreed time and day, she will hit the panic button.
but I also have a PLB if the shite hits the fan. Safety first should be everyones motto.
I also think it's time everyone has a sat phone.
And that's just my opinion.
