I needed a new toy
Bought a new toy. A Trailer/Camper.
Got a bit fed up with roughing it and I'm getting a bit old for swags and the other stuff
Searched for something that I can put up without help. Found it and it should be ready end of this month and away I go again
Can be put up by one person and it has a queen sized innerspring mattress. Heaven
My choice of cook top is being fitted to the tailgate, geezuz I might have to have breakfast now
No more tents or swags.

Cliff
I have been looking at something like that for some time
I'm starting to get soft I think
I like the idea of not having to much crap in the car and the quick set up time

It is dead easy to set up. Once you drag it open, you just extend the 2 side poles and lock them. No up right poles are required for the annex part and it just needs a couple of tent pegs on the outside corners.
The best bit for me is, it only weighs in at 460kg without gas bottles or jerry cans. it comes with standard landcruiser wheels, off road tyres and a tool box can be mounted on the A frame.
12 months rego included in the price. the kitchen cabinet I'm having mounted on the rear tailgate comes with stainless steel plumbed sink, I think the hand water pump is included, and some cabinet space underneath for pots and pans.

Nice set up redfin. I was thinking of the extra extension that can go with it but thort, no, then it would make me lazy and I wouldn't get out
Depending on where you are, you do need some shade.

Re: I needed a new toy
I like to keep it simple, too much comfort and ya might as well stay home. I don't make a permanent camp, pack up each morning as I don't know where I will camp that night, but that is a nice setup for a long period, hahaha, you probably won't want to head back home in town, but enjoy the tranquillity peace and quiet.

And that is exactly what we did GS58, camped on the gold and average stay was a week.
We have since upgraded and bought a place in town and day trip from there.
And we never want to go back to home to the big smoke.
