whats happening xmas..
its countdown time and everyones on a high or low thinkin about xmas.
Havent thought about it too much but might head down the highway and shoot a few goats for the freezer.
Buggered if I don't know why coles don't have it in their shelves.---maybe coz its a cheap meat and they don't have a decent markup.
Sure save us some fuel money and 2 days of our life.
anyhow i'll throw it open.

Re: whats happening xmas..
Xmas o'seas last year and in Perth the year before. Xmas at home this year with OUR traditional fare. Roast Pork and vegies on the Weber, Xmas pudding with Lemon custard.
Probably buy myself something special to drink, maybe Grolsch, or Erdinger Hefe with a bottle of Makers Mark for afterwards. A couple of bottles of The Ned sauvignon blanc to go with lunch. Probably have a good snooze in the arvo.
Down the beach on Boxing Day with prawns, crayfish and salad for lunch.

Re: whats happening xmas..
Jeeeezzz Xmas already ! didnt we just have it a few months back ?
Home on Kangaroo island for us, down to emu bay beach at 8 am Xmas day for prawns and bubbles, all the locals come to chat and say g'day then it's back to my place for lunch, most likely charcoal cooked pork belly, spiced chicken pieces, wood oven cooked turkey roll and roast spuds cooked in duck fat and Chinese roast duck !
Then hopefully fishing for blue fin tuna if they arrive and the fun begins
Regards snapper

Garden Island north at Herring Bay,crystal clear water ,biggest esky we can find that will fit in the boat-dive hookah for the odd tasty crayfish, lots of bikini clad nymphets-may even take the old beach detector for a swing between drinks- life is tough over here in the west LOL-Dragon

Re: whats happening xmas..
we are spending christmas in Northampton for a week of fishing and maybe a dive for a cray or two and a bit of underwater detecting for some of the long lost sunken treasure's scattered along the batavia coast (well maybe a bit of coin or a ring or two) and then new years with my son in Wongan Hills.

yep chrissy is a long way of for me, 2 houses to brick up before then so no slowing down.
usual plans do my family for lunch and the in-laws at dinner the poor buggers. I'm always well and truly shot by time the evening shindig get's under way.
probably hit Dardanup boxing day and kick back with the father in law for a couple days and enjoy some relaxation time [in the dardi pub]
back at work Monday or Tuesday after xmas as I'm over this new year B.Shite, although my place needs some attention. guess I could finish my shed off only taken 4 years so far to build

Re: whats happening xmas..
The one good thing about christmas this year is that there's nothing planned. Nobody's quite sure where we are so they're unlikely to drop in. At this point no stress.......... it could be a good one
