Have googled crystalline gold, looks great. Cannot find anything on pillow case gold. Can you explain a little about it at all. Anyone found any here in WA??

Type/ rare Australian natural gold nugget crystals in the search engine in you tube and that's pillow case gold it is only found with crystalline gold andIit is that rare its worth 30 times it's wait in gold. Crystalline gold bis reef gold and very rare

I have found crystalline gold in the pilbara. it was in a small area .I sold it on ebay .sold quick and more than average gold was worth.

came across of the stuff years ago and didn't like the stuff so just melted it all down

It was that flakey that it sort of melted in between yah fingers and gold kept falling apart of the nuggets. I think gold is still there not too far from the highway--haven't bothered going back there but we did pick up some nice nuggets to show and tell.

thank god that was the only area that has it...just like finding nuggets.

I have also found that flakey type of stuff that melts when touched, it was mixed in with sand when panned, thought it was mica or something. Will have to go back and have another look when I get the chance. There's so much to learn about this kind of stuff.

Came from a very unusual area stuck to a grey powdery rock. solid gold ,looks like the sides of a diamond .this stuff didnt crumble of break up. Will get back to dig more before the rains come touch wood!

it looks like leeder gold to me! people think cristalline gold forms like it is but not true cristalline gold only forms on tantalite gold reefs the tantalite cools faster then the gold forming cristalls the gold forms around the tantalite creating the cristalline strcture in the gold making cristaline gold that is y its so rare! ill try and post a pic of what i got out of the patch and the formations of the type of gold that comes with it

It comes in a lot of different forms, I remember reading an article in ICMJ by Chris Ralph a while ago, the full article I think would still be subscription based but there a small bit here

The person buying the crystalline gold contacted myself after selling some and purchased more. Being a collector and paying handsomely I would say yep its crystalline..

Totally agree with ya  GF Wink  but it's only just showing very slight crystalline traits on one bit that i can see.

Actually i learned my lesson as a young digger when i made a newbies mistake that cost me severe quids at the time, i was onto a gully in SA where all the gold was Crystalline nuggets of the finest quality up to 2oz bits, all museum class gear, and stupid green me went n sold many oz's of it at the goin alluvial rate affraid Shocked
Hence i made it my duty to find out as much as i could on the stuff Very Happy

I had a nice ounce piece of crystal gold.. Sold it back in the 90's
for $25 a gram. Thought that was good money. As the going rate was $14 a gram.
The buyer had it in his shop for $100 a gram. B@%#@d.

Wish I knew then what I know now..
Oh well live and learn they say..
