It works like this, for some reason the one Ray put up is 2 joined together.

I have trouble tracking down a GEO MAP, 100k, for the CUE-Nannine region. Does anyone know whether this scale is
available?. Your help would be appreciated.

I've got a 1:100,000 Cue geol map I can email you if you pm me your email address. It will give you the names of all the adjoining 100k sheets. You can get 1:250,000 as well. Meant to ask, do you have Oziexplorer?

Thanks Brett, You are a gentleman. From memory the map number is 2544 and lies N/E of the Cue Sheet.
I have Oziexplorer, but that Sheet is not on disc. The 1:250 000 scale is readily available, however not acurate enough
to work with. The government website only lists the cover notes; but no map. I will have to wait another 5 days before I can send you my Email address externally, as I've only just joined up. Thanks again, Steady Eddie
PS: It could be Department of Minerals and Energy has not yet issued that sheet at 100k ?

I've got a heap of 1:100k geols that I can burn to disk and give you. I have to go down to Perth shortly, are u guys going to be there in the next week?
Just had a look at the sheet index I've got 2443 Cue but don't have the adjoining Meekatharra sheet 2544.

Just spoke to Map Sales at Petroleum & Energy. Map 2544 (Meeka district) does not exist yet at Scale 100k,
and will not in the foreseeable future. Will just have to eyeball the area like in the early days!

ok i have the maps, they are the A to Z listing of all WA 100k and 250k geo maps loadable to oziexplorer or other suitable software, same as available from DMP as our link above but all on one thumb drive. PM me if ya want a copy.

how big is the file to send via email ?

5.6 gig so a bit big even zipped.

i have picked up some 8gig usb sticks to make copies, i have also uploaded all the maps to dropbox so you can download the complete zipped file there, its 5 plus gig so will take a while. anyone wanting one on usb stick please pm me your postal details and I will send one to you. all i ask is either send it back to me once you have copied it or send me a new 8 gig usb stick or $6 so i can keep them coming for other members. it is on a trust basis. link to download coming soon.
