couple of pieces on Rays patch

thought I'd share a few picks of the weekend.


early morning riser--the sun was a sight to see rising above the horizon.


breakfast in bed--sorry at camp..nothing fancy--


yep trying to be organised--


the GPX machines hate this ground--gravel over clay--noisy and u need to ground balance every minute.


good weekend had by most..the big bit of gold on the red head went 7.9grams

a few teasers--afternoon and evening detecting certainly pays dividends..

WE WERE LUCKY terry--NONE SEEN--mind u were we ever vigilant especially in the country we were detecting.

I know there is a large resident king brown around the place so u don't get complacent.

BTW You are inviting creepy crawlies to make your boots home. Always stuff my Socks and gaters in mine now after I found a huge scorpion about to climb in one morning at Meekatharra.
