Tips needed

Hi I'm completely new to the prospecting game I live in Karratha I'm keen to get out there and start looking I've just purchased a 4800 I've been scouring the net and any literature I can get my hands on but the info is very vague ? If anyone could give me some areas to start and how to get there it would be greatly appreciated . I had a bit of a job convincing the misus in investing in a detector just want a few bits to make it seem worth wild . Thanks

use the search feature mat, look for topics and posts on your area, there is heaps of info here and lots that will help but its a two way street.

good luck with your hunt mate heaps of good spots in the pilbara

a good place to start is get onto the DMP website and run GeoVIEW program.
Zoom in on your area and have a play around with the layers it also shows if the ground is claimed already or not. heaps on info on here aswell
it is a steep learning curve though stick with it

They all tell me the stuffs been jumpin outa the ground only 15 - 20 km east Karratha for the last 5 years in new patches , sounds a good plan mate . albo.
