It pays to have a go.

Headed out yesterday exploring an area I've been researching, took the wrong track and ended up 5km ( by the gps )from where i wanted to go. noticed what looked like old scraps and thought what the hell, might as well give it a go. Glad I did, picked up these pieces for a total of 14 grams.

Can we now call you "Wrongway Larson"   
Nice stuff.  Maybe it pays to go the wrong way sometimes

Nice bits of gold, Nosralt getting   some times is not a bad thing after all. Are you going to be able to find your way back there for another look
Maybe my abnormal sense of imagination BUT can any one else see that the big nugget looks a bit like a dog with another running up to sniff its Arso

Thanks everyone.
Went back out yesterday with a mate and found the other spot. As it turns out was on the right track, it just takes a scenic route around some hills leading you away before bringing you back, typical pilbara track.
Thanks google earth for such out of date images.
I picked up a couple nice species while my mate picked up over an once in 8 pieces.
Might have to do another trip there next week, hopefully a little better color for me.
