3rd quarter, and the score is even.  I've always liked Geelong team, dunno why but go the Cats.
It might be just a myth but it seemed Geelong was just a workers and battlers town, maybe thats why I liked them.
Might also have something to do with the West Aussie's who played with them over the years.

iv'e always liked the sharks cos of their colours and we have had a few good players come from the Freo teams, as much as i don't like Freos coach i would still pick them over the west coast budgies

In all sincerity, and being a guy that loves a pint in the Sail 'n Anchor with a cheap but excellent curry in the food hall out the back, I do have a secret, soft spot today for the Dockers!

the dockers took sydney in their stride, some great defense. a good game to watch for the docker supporter. off to Melbourne and a great chance for the premiership. my moneys on them

Being a Freo bred and born boy, it scared me.  I only watched the last quarter.  Ok,  I lost a bet but, we are there.
I'll now go hang my head in shame thinking Freo couldn't do the job.  That's life.
1 game to go.  If Freo wins the flag, free beer at my place     but try getting in to get free beer  

from mid year they looked the goods even with a few key players rested. the last half of the game was nothing like the first, they were brilliant and unbeatable. if they kicked straight they would of won by 50 points plus. great game. from a eagles supporter.

As a cats supporter was disappointed with the result  , they just weren't good enough on the night, would be nice to see the Dockers win there first.

yeah good on them, me wife is a dorkers supporter and is in the process off dying her hair purple:affraid: 
they will have it tough next week, especially if they play mcpharlin who looks injured on buddy or roughie. but they have earned the right to have a crack which is good to see for the little guy's from the west. little guy's from the west no more?? will wait and see mind you I cannot stand the weagles.

Nothing better than a cuppla pints of the old Dog Bolter (now defunct) at the S&A and a "Ruby Murrray" on the way home.

BTW - three best pies shops in WA, two are on the "Prospector's Run" east and north:

Bakers Hill pie shop on the Gt Eastern Highway

Bindoon pie shop on the Gt Northern Highway - still is good but not as good as when they were in the older building next door

,,,,and Kojonup pie shop.

Plus my missus's Steak & Kidney Pie or Cottage Pie.

merridan bakery do a nice pie cat, about the only good thing about merridan though. 

Caltex Dongera on the hwy ,home made pies are beaut to if your heading up the north coast road also.
