Scan Your Gold its easy

If you dont have a Digital camera to take photo's of your gold finds but do have a printer/scanner
there is a simple way to do it, the pics come out really well too.

I have always scan my gold and keep then to file with the date and GPS plots and linked to the ozi waypoint so once you mapis up you just click on the waypoint and it will open the photo or movie of your find in that location.

Here are some gold scaned back in 2000

Hint

put a clear plastic sheet on the scanner so it will not stratch the surface as it will take it's toll over the years.

I just put the lid back on top of the gold and scan it and send it to my paint program and edit it from there.

I use an Epson CX7300, old now but still does the job. I leave it in Professional mode and play with the settings till i get what I want.
Just tested it with a bit of junk mail and some bluetak to get the little bits to stick where the star is.
