Birthday present for BooBook

Better late than never. Now this young fella boobook said one of his favourite John Williamson songs was "Diamantina Drover".
I've done my best here and this is the DWAG version. Hope you enjoy it.

Many thanks Cliff, the nostalgia for Chris and I as we watched that flooded back.
Very well compiled, I hope you rewarded yourself with several frothy pots.
Just a little further East of the Diamantina where we mined opal the old paddocks may have been 10000 acres with a 5 strand netted fence on gidgea posts sunk in sandstone rock.
When you travel (battle) along these old fencelines you come across old camps which were either fence repair gangs or rabbit poisoners.
Pretty near dead straight they always lead to or from a watering point.
Now the fences are all falling apart and the windmill bores salted up.
Progress, eh.
