Back home now after 4 months in the Western State. Not a lot of gold, but we are biginners after all.

Yesterday Chris made a great bacon'n'egg pie, I put a nice bottle of red in, perfect sunny day and we went out to what used to be a nice place to realax and pan a bit of gold.

After 50km. of gravel, 10km. of steep and rough we came to a new fence, gate with a bloody big chain and lock making sure it stays shut.
Friggin' National Parks strike again.

We did enjoy a very nice lunch though after plan B came into operation. I also took the chainsaw and came home with a decent load of firewood!

I like that, a 75yr. old owl still flying!
