Long shaft Empty Long shaft

Earlier this year I bought a NFA 17x11 mono and decided I'd try a long shaft with it.

I'm only 6' but the long shaft seemed to make a huge difference in coverage and was much more comfortable to use. I've since used it with even my 12" mono and it was also great with that. It make it easier to stick the coil under and around bushes and when your patch searching, you don't feel like your going to walk on the coil. I'm going to get the long shafts for each on my coils now.

Anyone else tried them?

Yeah, I wouldn't want to use one without a bungee and hipstick.

Ditto

Being a big Unit,6ft 5 (my ol man used to say he never knew they stacked Horse Sh!t that high) I have been using the extra long lower shafts since the SD days.
Recently got my grubby mitts on a Carbon Fibre upper shaft . They are about 4 inches longer than a standard issue Minelab upper. A touch lighter as well, but they do flex abit.
