g,day Pete, tried some nite tecting the other nite and know what ya mean about tecting in places u wouldnt in the daytime, the first nite out i didnt take my gps as i was camped only 50 mts from a patch and had a big camp fire goin and a gas lantern which is 5 feet high off the ground so i could see the camp easy, every now and again i would look up at camp to make sure i dont travel more than 70 odd metres away, then one time i look for the camp lights i couldnt see it and thought i must be behind some bushes so walked around them and still couldnt see so i walked about 20 mts and still couldnt see so i turned around there was the lights, so from now on even just detecting 50 mts from camp i take the gps, oh and the three nites i went tecting i pinged some yella, Stu

I'm hearin ya Stu, it can get ya all disconbobulated at night especially with a few drinkies inya
Always been a night hunter me self, just love the quiet of the tecta and no fkn fly's and always seem ta
find a few that where hiding in the daylight, bloody fall over a lot hahaha thats the only drawback.
