The Long Weekend In Vic ...

Hi all ,
Caught up with the lads on the weekend ( TheGoldenChild , HobosGold , CostasDee & The smiling assassin ) .
The weather was perfect for hunting the elusive colour so we decided to set up camp in the bush central to the areas that we had chosen to scope out .
Taking advantage of the full moon we hunted both day & night to capitalise on the time spent out there . The night hunts were great with the wands running so smooth which allowed us to tweak & try different settings with great results
Anyway ... as always - great company , stack of laughs , & the pleasure of sharing it all with mother nature .
Thanks guys ,,, until we meet again - Get nuggetted !!

Good stuff Glenn, I spent the long weekend at Amherst with a few small ones showing up for me, gold is only a bonus to being out bush..I met a couple of other keen prospectors while camping and took them to where I found my gold but they unfortunately did not find any for themsleves.

Good to see that you guys are having a great time and having a fair old win while enjoying the good times, let the good times roll ay!!!!

I caught up with stoppsy throught the week but it was raining and we were only able to talk of past gold finding times and enjoy each others company....Stoppsy is welcome at my campife anytime!!!! as I am sure alot of the guys on the forum here would be.

May the gold gods keep shining on you guys.... I would love to catch up one weekend even if detecting was not apart of the plan!!

goldstalker, thanks mate it's good to have good mates that love the same hobby as we can just tak gold, the wife can only listen to me talking gold for a few mins...

Sorry to break the fun in that thread but until it happens you dont really realise how lucky you are and how much you love them :!: Lost my wife to cancer way too early 13 years ago (Aged 39). Been bringing up 3 kids since then and they turned out ok. Close to moving on to golden pastures.
So, bring on a nice long legged Swedish blonde that likes long neck Bundies, gold prospecting, Aussie bush, you know & doing the dishes .
