heres a pic of a mates BBQ he brought in ktown and after putting it through its paces I thought we were going to set fire to the bush--the flame was a bit uncontrollable but the hot plate worked a treat

for me --i'll stick with the prospectors fire box.

it cost about $100.00 at the one arm bandit.

I just saw a great idea for a portable fire like you're set up Ray, a fair bit bulkier and heavier I guess but even heat and durable.

last trip out found this old set up, bloody glad we did coz there was no big rocks around which we usually use to lift the plate off the ground,
