refurb the dry blower again-- Empty refurb the dry blower again--

Me dry blower is back at the workshop for this seasons overhaul--whether I get to crank her up well that's another story but at least I will fix her up.

a few bearings to replace and a new conveyor to replace the old one--to be sure..
overhaul the motor and replace some of the riffle tray mats--a few too many holes in them now.

so if anyone is around town and wants a sticky beak then after 4pm is a great time to come on down and have a chin wag..
always a beer in the fridge--

and if anyone sees one in there travels maybe in someone's back yard, please let me know as I am on the hunt for another one..

not critisim Ray but noticed the top screen frame has broken & taken a few weld repairs & the rear coil springs look a tad light for the job , maybe a stronger spring rate may take out the excessive bounce out to extend its life .only an idea to try out ,albo. cheers

Just got to strip a 06 hiace commuter bus I got cheap then the DB will take its place..

Ktown has had a bit too much rain now so looking like a late season--

new screen bed and new springs will be the order of the day plus new conveyor belts and bearings.

keep an eye out for any lying around your old stomping grounds--

Apparently $7k will get it. You'd get more gold than a new ML detector I reckon  Very Happy

Hi Brett

that machine is a few years old and was green last time--they had a trommel working in conjunction with it--

no good to me as i need something to crush the small clay beads back to fines to release the gold.

came across an old dry blower that hasn't been used for the past 10 years that I know off and we are going out to resurrect the old girl--

just need somewhere to park it for the refurb..

new conveyor-bearings-motor and complete new deck and screens --coat of paint and she will be as good as new.

will see how we go.
