2015 Forum Muster
First topic message reminder :
hi all, we have been getting a few enquiries for the 2015 muster, thinking of sandstone this year and due to the poor attendance to Niagara muster 2014 we will be keeping it simple with no fees and consequently no BBQ or prizes awarded. just a get together of as many of us that are keen. post any suggestions on dates ETC and we can start the process of getting leaseholders info for 40E's and/or permissions as required.
cheers

Re: 2015 Forum Muster
Hello to everyone who was at the muster, just arrived home to Queensland after 4 months on the road in your lovely state. We had a great trip and met some lovely people . For those at the muster who remember our half a bucket of rocks, we had it processed in Kalgoorlie on the way home and it produced 6.45ozs of gold. Liked to thank Martin for organising the muster and it would be great to see you all again next year, now to get the red dust out of everything. I would post some photo's but I have forgotten how, old age is a bitch.lol

Hi Max & Belinda,
Fabulous news on the gold and glad the 2300 worked so well for you both. We were glad to hear you arrived home safe & sound and have lovely memories of Max delivering the mail on his postie bike. Thank you once again Belinda for taking Joan on a trip to Meeka, much appreciated. We do hope to see you both on the next muster. Best wishes for Christmas & New Year.

great stuff Max and Belinda, it did look like there was a lot of gold in those rocks. glad to hear the trip went well and your safe back home. the red dust gets everywhere and i just get to the point of doing my best and leave the rest. lol. next years one will be bigger and better and I am currently looking at a few potential places. Jase mentioned a spot to me called Eucalyptus where good gold has and still is being found, not too sure where it is ATM so if anyone has any info i would appreciate it.

If it's anywhere near salt, it could stuff the 7000 users.
Does anyone have more info about this site ?

Hi All,
Eucalyptus was being dry blown by a fella sub leasing from the owner, he had motor prob's when we called in and was in Kal getting a replacement motor, there was a couple of blokes tectin his lease so we left them to it
Quite hilly with fumeroles and quartz and ironstone, quite a distance from the salt lake. We wereup the road at yundermerinda the area has been worked over but out and about might be a better option
Maybe we could ask BL if he wants an area worked over
Ron

Re: 2015 Forum Muster
Hi there,
I just received an Email from Silverlake Mining stating
that they are in negotiation with other parties for the sale of their mining leases at Quinns, and therefore are not issueing any permits from now on.
"Wispering caprock" seems lost for the time being.
Bad news.
Eddie

Originally I thought I'd left the lense cover on and lost this but I found it sorry Deet, it's on Youtube now
This was taken the morning we rocked up at the camp site. Everyone was out so I didn't know who was there.
Nuggiedreamer (Deet) felt the need to use his BOOM BOX it was a horrible sight and even poor Rocky the dog didn't know what to do.
I was telling the dog to run for it's life but it didn't understand english
