yep Sat-6-12-14 the temp is expected to reach 49'c--I reckon the air cons will be working overtime..

I can't ever remember seeing a forecast for 50+ degrees, but I've been saying for a while now that I reckon it's going to crack 50 degrees this summer, looks like I'm on the money… Does anyone remember a forecast or actual record above 50?

50+ years ago the record was set and we are led to believe today by the scare mongers, we are doomed.

Yep, lovely day to be changing cutting edges on the loader. Long sleeve shirts and gloves, bucket will be red hot.

yes about 9.30 and we were back in camp dripping wet and that was taken in the shade. peaked at 51. something from memory but not to sure on the accuracy of the unit.

I just changed from the bead style thermocouple to the probe and got 44.3 in the shade and over 47 in the sun, officially 46.5 as of 20 minutes ago

it was 40.5c in the workshop at 10.30am and then took the measuring stick outside and the dam thing blew up.--it is hot.

took the old school thermometer outside under the eave in the shade and it climbed to 47.

the Bar got to 47C --would have been a good session at the ironclad--or barely clad hotel.

Noticeably hotter today.

feckin hot out today and yesterday burning my bloody hands waving the dirt over the coil, pulled close to an oz so was worth the blisters.

Well done K-Town, what a great effort, you deserve the spoils going out in this heat, it was just too hot up this way to even consider the last 2 days, we headed down to the Newman turn off to catch up with a family member that was passing through and i know the car temp's can be a bit hit n miss but it was showing 49.

shes in the 40's this week and a brewing cyclone of the coast in the kimberleys..

welcome to the new year and hope we get a shed load of rain to wash away the last layer of top soil.

Didn't make it to 50 degrees back in December, but 49 degrees forecast for tomorrow…

yep I was in a hopper that day changing steel liners , far east Pilbara , jeez that beer gut is still there ... better have another.
