that's it-I've decide to modify me draws in me troopy coz they only go one third of the distance in--hopefully after the weekend they will have an extra 50% to add more gear into.

out with the old and making the new.

the draws will be 50% larger

from the edge of the carpet to the back void will be taken up by the new length draws.

about $200 for gear which will allow easier access to a heap more stuff.

new draws in place--and a heap more gear stored out of harms way.

this is what I had and note the crap ontop

new gear in place
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
the comparison by utilising wasted storage area which was a pain to get to in the middle of the back of the troopy..
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

everything in place even lashed out and wacked a couple of handles in place--

the sliding draw on the RHS is still the original size and I think I might leave it like that for the time being.
The large grey plastic tank on the RHS is my water storage tank--65L--and hopefully this week my 12v pressure pump will roll up and will plum that in to give us a bit of water pressure rather than having it dribble out.

The next project is to remove the rear door speaker and mount the speakers inside the troopy out of harms way and replace that existing panel with a piece of Ali checker plate 1.6mm and then attach a fold down door to the side of that panel..so we can have a gas cooker sit there with a cup of coffee.

pics next week end.
