wheel carrier repairs Empty wheel carrier repairs

Post by Guest Sun 02 Feb 2014, 3:26 pm

have a two spare wheel carrier set up on the rear of my troopy so decided while I have time up my sleive I would repack the bearings in the swing arms.

The carrier is a Kaymac system and they also use Holden wheel bearings on the stub axles that the wheels pivot on.

Thank god I did coz the bearings were RS and had to be replaced and the hub completely cleaned and repacked with new grease.

So if u have a bit of time to spare and if ya swing arms are sloppy on the stub axles then its time to give them a birthday--takes about an hour depending on the damage..

regards
