Anyone using this battery ?  If you are, how does it compare with Minelab.

Gidday Cliff,
Nice bit of gear, BUT :
I had one and sold it. Didn't have enough grunt to run speakers, although it was fine for headphones. At full volume it was barely enough to operate on a quiet day, but if there was any wind, forget about it !
Even sent it back to Coiltek to see if they could get any more volume out of it, but alas, no.
Also didn't like that it didn't have a dedicated 12 volt charger. Instead, they supply a small inverter to charge it via 240 volt from your 12 volt socket !
