Swags Empty Swags

ya gotta try things at least once. So I have just bought an Oz Trail Mitchell King Single Swag. I gotta say now, I'm not impressed with the so called "Poles" they provide. Yes I did know they would be metalic when I bought the swag. The swag it self is bloody brilliant.
Here's a suggestion for the the company, supply poles made from fibreglass or carbon fibre. Coleman can do it.

That's a good price for local in WA. And from what I see, ya won't regret it, it's a top piece of gear. I almost fell asleep in mine last night on the lounge room floor Swags 3179412840
Ya definitely need a good nights sleep out in the scrub and we don't all have vans. I think to top it up, just a hiking infatible on top of the provided mattress will do well if ya got old bones like me Very Happy

Oztrail tell me they gave up making fibreglass poles for their swags, they said the fibreglass couldn't stand the heat of our summers Suspect
But have offered the following suggestion.
Get a fibreglass pole repair kit and you can make your own. Use 7.9mm poles.
