G/day!
As previously promised when I had a couple and I have had a couple more since then Haha!
jr's finds added to the previous posted, from last weekend
The bugga went back to that spot in Maggot and camped overnight last Sat.
All I got from him is messages to p---sss me off
Sat he texted at 10am and said he was having morning tea, but had found 11 nuggies, poor bast---d must have been devastating to only find that many!!!!
Sunday morning, guess what, another message at 10am, he was going home and the tally was 22
Well I guess there's no point in going back to that spot for me Hahaha!

Yeah..it is a good litttle spot that in Mt Magnet that Pete & I found by accident. We just followed our nose going into country that looked good potential.
I have got 51 nuggets off the area in less than 2 weekends, so gotta be happy with that.
Happily shout you guys when we get together.
Good prospecting fellas....low & slow is the go!!! kwdf

It goes to show that low & slow is the go. So SLOW DOWN your detecting technique brothers!!!
I found about 40 nuggs chaining an area about 100m by 50m that had been previously scraped and obviously detected before, probably a while ago. Then on another weekend a couple of weeks later, went back to the area and because I had confidence in gold being in that area, I very carefully cross detected over the area I had chained ... and found about 15 more (small though) I had missed. I could not believe I had missed them, but it goes to show that low and slow and from another direction more carefully low & slow will yield results. Surprising but it's true.
I mention this experience in the hope that it will help fellow prospectors find more gold.
Happy detecting .... May you find that house brick of gold that we are all lookin' for soon!!!
