13 oz Lump

Hi Chaps,
Went out with my brother 2 days ago up here in the Pilbara and we got an early Xmas present.
My brother pinged a 13 oz. beauty.



We were out there for two days, with the first day bringing us a couple of bits each.
The next day we decided to try a new area about 50 meters away and boy are we glad we did.
Before lunch our young'n pinged a couple of slugs of 13gms and 8grms and was pretty stoked with that.
After lunch he decided to give this mini patch another go but after trying for a couple of hours decided to move on. After walking about 10 meters he lifted his coil over a bit of spinifex and thought he'd went over a coke can. After kicking the spinifex out of the way and digging only 6" he couldn't believe what was lying on the pile of dirt in front of him. He called me on the two way and when I got there we just stood there and ogled at this beauty for a while.
We were both running 5000's and because of the amount of spinefex our young'n had his 15" Minelab elip.
on and I had my 17" Nuggetfinder elip. on. Both detecters were purring and found on the day we could run the gain as far up as 17. Even the smaller bits were giving a nice crisp signal so you can imagine what this beauty sounded like at 6".
Our young'n ended up with about 14 oz of yellow and I ended up with about 16 gms.
Our unwritten law is any nugget over 1 oz. we share so we are both in the money.
That brings the next question chaps. How is the best way of selling this beauty. We've never sold any of our gold yet and any info would be muchly appreciated.

Nice lump of a nugget there Tuts, its one of those nuggets that when you see it in the heap and outa the hole you just seem to have to say, frruck me loooook at this, and then do the victory dance.

Its a bloody nice reward anyway, and a big well done Tuts, and its good to be able to have a gander at it. :farao:
