small gene or solar

ive got an old camper which we have done some fantastic trips with,got it cause it was cheap,i need power out bush to charge my detector battery,a light etc should i get a generater or set up a solar setup on it ,havnt used it prospecting yet only shark bay ,exmouth etc were there is caravan parks,which i dont want to stay it if i can get away with it

The solar works well, most of the time. The panels are not that expensive now, but the batteries
are not cheap.

A 160w fold out should do you...........but get bad weather for a few days and the gennie starts to look good.

I get away without a gennie and just 100w panel/200amp/hr battery but I tend to drive a bit most days.

So, as always, depends on your needs.
