been talking to quantas/virgin and apparently if the battery has no exposed terminals and is enclosed and only puts out (NOW HERE IS THE TRICKY BIT) between 100-160 watts per hour it is allright to carry onboard so being pc mentally challenged and only a (gold grubber) ha ha crazy pete.
how do i find out what wattage my lucky lark +minelab lithium ion batteries produce.

Interesting question. Not being electrically minded, I'd just flatten the battery before ya fly but the sods would probably want proof. Can always recharge them.
Hope the guys here can help ya.

Specie

I wouldnt get to worried about the battery, Minelab ships all its detectors aus and worldwide
with the li-ion batteries 1/3 charged so there carnt be a prob Speci.

As to the battery tech info i would just give Minelab a call on 08 8238 0888
and ask for Kevin in the service dept mate, he
will give ya all the tech info on the bugger instantly...
